How complicated is it to gather adult stem cells?  Is it useful in arthritis and pain?

This is a minimally invasive procedure, essentially using micro cannulas and syringe to gather 4-5 tablespoons of fat from tummy or thigh areas. In combination with platelet concentrates (your own of course), the cells and the growth factor combination has proven safe and effective in many cases with arthritis and chronic pain. At exact placement is assured by use of ultrasound guidance, improved results are achieved. We do NOT recommend use of steroid injections for the same purpose as they are temporary PLUS actually STOP your healing capabilities for some period of time. Exactly opposite of what is sought.

How successful has the combination been in helping low back pain and sciatica?

With high quality ultrasound guidance into the sacroiliac, lower lumber and are of piriformis muscle (associated with sciatic nerve), success has been quite remarkable. It typically requires 2-4 weeks to achieve great relief and begin to return to regular work or daily activities.

Is it possible to provide adult stem cells in neurodegenerative disease? I heard that it is now feasible to treat these problems via Intravenous application.

I have an aunt who has problems with her low back areas, with pain going down one leg. Can this type of treatment help in cases of this type. Can you help in arranging for her care by providing advice on where to stay in the MT area. She is located in Alabama. Thanks

Thanks for question. Yes, the use of ultrasound guidance to accurately deliver a combination of your own fat derived stem/stromal cells mixed with your own concentrates of platelets has proven high safe and effective. It is a very common issue, and surgical intervention should be ONLY considered as a LAST RESORT. This is a relatively simple process, taking 3-4 teaspoons of fat via small syringe, mixing with your platelets (taken by single blood draw at time), and targeted delivery by small needle is quite often an optimal treatment.

Susan,
Yes, there is rapidly gaining evidence of the safety and effective treatment of many of the neurodegenerative group of disorders such as MS, Parkinson's, ALS, Huntington's Chorea, Alzheimer, etc.. Most are treated using fat-derived stem/stromal cells taken from your own fat tissues, cells separated using certain enzymes to free them, and given via IV, intrathecal (spinal canal) or intraperitoneal. There are many clinical case reports and increasing clinical trial reports supporting safety and significant improvements in patient conditions. We have performed many tests on the stem/stromal cells found, and are very supportive of the use of your own cells, delivered back to you in the same day, same procedure.

Many new advances on the Cellular Therapy Field have occurred recently. New technology is available and in use to use a closed cell separation system (CentriCyte 1000). This enables isolation and concentration of your own adult stem & stromal cells for delivery via IV for systemic diseases. Click on MORE INFORMATION link on home page of this site.

Use of our own cells (autologous) as adults is a proven and safe means of gathering ADULT stem-stromal cells which are most prevalent within our fat deposits. Found amongst the tiny blood vessels, these are throughout our body and serve as the means with which we maintain ourselves and repair injuries. Many of these adult stem-stromal cells have remarkable capabilities important in healing and regeneration.

The Stem Cell therapy is one of the greatest medical discoveries of all time. Stem Cell therapy can treat almost all kinds of disease. This therapy works by replacing the damaged neurons caused by injuries. There are cases also where stem cell therapy can treat even the spinal cord injuries. Aside from these cases, Stem cell treatment can also medicate other neurological problems such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinsons disease. But this kind of treatment is really expensive and not all of us can afford this.

Thanks for your comments. Besides use in shoulders, we are finding outstanding outcomes and safety in low back pain, sciatica, hips/knees/ankles, feet.
The ability to provide even higher quality platelet concentrates and great graft harvests are yielding earlier and more complete repair and regeneration.

Thanks for the comment. We are having remarkable success in headaches, trigger point relief with neural dissection, and peripheral nerve disorders. Entrapment in old surgical scars of small pain fibers are often responding to cellular and biocellular therapy.
As a minimally and more biologic approach to pain, we are finding many more responding to these therapies.
